This is a company that specialises in IT, with around 50 staff members. We offer IT services to our clients based on various chosen solutions. As a provider of Managed Services, we began working with ServiceNow using the ITSM-solutions. For several years, we have been an authorised partner of ServiceNow in Belgium for consulting and implementation.
Your new role
As an account manager you are our a brand ambassador and our public face. You are the first point of contact for new business while taking care of the relations with our existing customers.
Tasks and responsibilities To succeed in this role, you are able to listen to the customer, truly understand his needs and the (IT) challenges he is facing. You can translate his needs in the solution that we are proposing. You can explain the functionalities of the offered solution, and how it meets the customer/prospect requirements. You will highlight our company's strengths and our key differentiators. Subject-Matter Expert from our group, (technical experts or consultants) and our vendors, will support you and assist in explaining the more complex features of our solutions. You will report directly to one of our directors, will work closely with our marketing department and our technical team. You are responsible for selling projects and services.
Main tasks:
Existing customers
Relationship management with existing customers. Maintenance and strengthening of existing relationships. Good knowledge of our customers’ projects and IT roadmap. Upselling and cross-selling. New customers
Active prospection Good understanding of the prospect’s needs, linking them with our solutions. Presentation of our solutions together with our partners and/or your direct colleagues. Write proposals and answer all clarifications questions Maintenance and reinforcement of relations with our partners’ sales teams
We team up a lot with our key partners (such as Dell, VMware, Checkpoint, ServiceNow, …). Your task is to understand our added value and to put it forward with new potential customers as well as with our main partners.
Your profile
- IT degree or equivalent experience
- Good communication in Dutch or French and English (trilingual preferred)
- Passionate about IT and new technologies
- Customer oriented, motivated, and not scared of hunting
- Some sales experience in IT sector
- Familiar with sales process and stages
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eye for details
- Independent and team player
- Structured and organised work
- Stress resistant and deadline oriented
- Likes dynamic and changing environment
- Professional and positive attitude
- Curious and eager to learn technology
