To strengthen its Manufacturing team in Kortrijk, Barco is looking for a Repair Specialist for its Healthcare products or its Entertainment products.
As a Repair Specialist you analyze and repair defects in our healthcare displays or projectors. Thanks to your technical knowledge, you are able to figure out the root cause of problems and propose solutions. This way you become the key figure between our production team and our Quality / Industrialization / R&D engineers.
Your responsibilities:
- You autonomously analyze & structurally investigate the root cause of a problem
- Your focus is on electronics & software related failures
- You carry out qualitative repairs on our displays or projectors
- You monitor the progress of the repairs so that deadlines are respected
- You report your analysis and work together with Quality / Industrialization / R&D colleagues towards a solution
- You will be involved in the development of new devices by making recommendations on serviceability.
- You support colleagues by sharing technical knowledge, analyses, etc. and
- You are responsible for internal training
- You help improving the repair process
We are looking for a colleague who:
- has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics (or equivalent through experience)
- has thorough technical knowledge of both hardware (electronics) and software (network technology, Linux,...)
- has a hands-on mentality and has an eye for detail and quality
- is able to work out a solution in a structural way
- is strong in communication and has a good knowledge of English & (preferably) Dutch
- can work from our Belgian manufacturing site
