Context
In your role as Art Advisor you will work in close collaboration with the Head of Art Advisory on the following topics: Art Advisory, Events Organisation, Project Support, Communication and Network Development.
Art Advisory is a fully integrated service in Degroof Petercam Client Services Private Banking.
Your Position
- Art Advisory:
The Art Advisor provides personalized advice, assistance, and solution to the clients of Degroof Petercam (DP) by answering art/art-ownership related questions. As a result of its integrated approach, the Art Advisor works in close collaboration with the Private Bankers, the Estate Planners and the other departments of DP;
- Events Organisation:
The Art Advisor sets the guidelines and establishes objectives for art related internal/external events and partnerships. Moreover, she/he proposes and supports the implementation of art events and art partnerships;
- Project Support:
The Art Advisor takes the role of project manager on art related projects in the areas of art culture nurturing internal/external, art related partnership construction, next gen art community engagement, etc… ;
- Communication:
The Art Advisor collaborates with DP Corporate Communication & Marketing departments on the creation of art related articles, blogs, social media posts;
- Network Development:
The Art Advisor works with a national/international network of art experts selected for their professionalism & ethics. She/he maintains and develops the relationships with this network in a transparent & inclusive way together with the Head of Art Advisory.
Your Profile
- You have a master degree in Art History or equivalent or relevant industry experience;
- You have a first experience and knowledge in art collection management, art history, the art market, legal/fiscal implication of art-ownership and/or art valuations/insurance;
- You have experience with client servicing, relationship management and communication (incl. public speaking & presentation);
- You have experience in partnership building, project management & event organization (incl. budget management);
- You have a high degree of adaptability and can relate to different profiles of clients & stakeholders (external/internal);
- You are autonomous and have an entrepreneurial spirit while being able to collaborate and leverage the strengths of DP colleagues;
- You have the energy and drive to engage with our clients and build convincing tailor-made client value propositions;
- You are proficient in Dutch (fluent), French & English;
- You have solid skills in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook & Word);
- You are a collaborative team worker who shares DP’s values;
